Hugh and l have been very fortunate over the last few years to host some very special occasions at Chalet Savoie Faire. It always makes us feel so proud to be asked to host such a momentous day, this house was built to hold a celebration of love and life shared together. These few images capture some of what can be done with creative thinking together, making this day very different form all other weddings. The valley of Naves has open spectacular views, fresh air, no stress, plenty of venues to choose from and with our help and guidance we can make sure you and your guests enjoy every step of the emotional adventure.
Walking with the photographer to find snow. This was suppose to be a winter wedding but the sun decided to come out and shine all week, 19C, perfect!
As this was a winter wedding, we had Xmas trees decorated with small wooden disks that l engraved with different messages.
This is the tree trunk l asked Hugh to carve out for the wedding cake base, then l engraved with a hot pen so the couple have it for a memory in their garden.
Our little hall across the road with covered water troughs can hold up to 40 guests for a sit down meal, or 70 for a buffet and party with band. During the summer months we can add a champagne hut, more guests, outdoor tables, chairs and candles.
The water troughs were filled with floating candles, lanterns and Christmas trees
We leave our bedroom and bathroom for the Bride to get ready, nails, hair, champagne and all those special treats a bride to be needs.
Beautiful Rachel
