I visited Chalet Savoie Faire in September 2018 for a cooking holiday with a group of friends. We had the best week – Nikki and Hugh (and Milo!) are perfect hosts. The chalet and the surrounding area are simply beautiful and we spent a lovely week cooking, shopping, visiting the spa, cocktails, more cooking…! A beautiful way to spend a week in wonderful company! Thank you for having us and hope to see you again soon!

“The magic of being alive”
Surrounded by mountain views to die for, life in this French alpine village is relaxed to say the least! In winter, endless white peaks embrace your soul and fill you with a sense of restorative peace. Come summer, the verdant pastures resonate with the sound of tinkling mountain streams, singing birds and the occasional cow bell from the local herds! Butterflies flit merrily around your feet as you tread the ancient footpaths and you find yourself bewitched by the magic of simply being alive.
Chalet Savoie Faire is located just under two hours from Geneva or Lyon airport and under thirty minutes from Moutiers-Salins train station. Transfers can be arranged upon request.
A world of possibilities in the area.
Outside of yoga at the chalet we can suggest different excursions to help your clients explore our beautiful alpine setting. We have a range of possibilities in addition to the usual alpine activities.
A trip to Annecy, the “Venice of the Alps”
“Shabby chic” shopping at the local brocantes
Finding out about the local cuisine at local market
A relaxing trip to our local thermal spas
Guided walks and learning about the local flora and fauna
Above all, the best hosts in Nikki and Hugh…
Simply the best xxx

YOUR HOSTS: NIKKI & HUGH
Expect a warm welcome from your hosts Nikki and Hugh, whose hands-on approach, boundless energy and creative culinary talents will ensure that guests feel well and truly pampered during their stay. Nikki left Australia over 30 years ago to travel the globe, finally settling in France and managing alpine properties for a large ski holiday company. Hugh is an ex-professional cyclist, who is often to be spotted whizzing up the local mountain roads when he doesn’t have his toolkit in his hand! Chalet Savoie Faire has been a true labour of love for the couple, who have poured heart and soul into making it a peaceful, authentic and relaxing place to spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle of ‘the real world’!
Other activities for your guests
Depending on the season, we can help to organise other activities for your guests that will complement the yoga practice routine. How about hiking through the mountains, road cycling or mountain biking? In the winter, many of our guests enjoy cross country skiing, ski touring, or snow-shoe tours.
