The spa town of La Léchère is close to the chalet and offers the opportunity to relax and make the most of the vast range of treatments offered. La Léchère spa is unusual as it uses thermal water from the nearby thermal springs. A wide range of treatments is available from reflexology and facials to massages and steam rooms. Perfect after a long day on the mountain or in the saddle!

We can also arrange for a masseur/masseuse to come to Chalet Savoie Faire if requested in advance of your stay.
Alternatively, if you or one of your party would prefer to spend the whole stay at Chalet Savoie Faire relaxing this can be easily arranged.  Why not book onto one of Nikki’s cookery courses and choose from a range of courses from vegetarian to local Savoyard dishes. Nikki also shares her extensive knowledge of the local area by taking you on gentle walks to discover what the mountains have to offer for the foodie – from mushrooms to local farms producing the local delicious cheeses.

Local French markets are always a treat to visit and there are excellent twice weekly markets in the valley which are definitely worth spending a morning browsing around.

There are many local towns worth visiting within easy striking distance of Chalet Savoie Faire, including the not to be missed lake town of Annecy as well as Bourg St Maurice, Aime, Albertville, Moûtiers and Chambery. These historic alpine towns are fascinating to explore at any time of the year and have much to offer in any season.
