From Sea to Savoie…

Imagine a unique trip throughout France where every day is an exciting holiday experience. Well, that’s what we have planned for you.

This experience involves meeting the locals and soaking up the wonder of exceptional places in France that are off the standard tourist trail. We’ll remove any concerns you may have about being in the best place at the right time. Just rest assured it’s our business to ensure you have the optimal travel experience.

You’ll be accompanied by an Australian guide who has lived in France for more than 30 years. She promises a trip jam-packed with the opportunity to experience history, adventure, local cuisine and wine, vestiges of prehistoric times, rugged coastline, beautiful beaches and majestic mountain scenery. If that sounds as if it holds the promise of the holiday of a lifetime, then you’re correct.

We have chosen two location bases so you can unpack your bags and make yourselves at home.

We start in Brittany, staying in fabulous chateau-style accommodation that will be our home for the next seven nights. Brittany is renowned for its ancient standing stones and seaports, walled citadels, green fields, rugged coastline, crêpes, cider and laid-back atmosphere… not to forget the iconic Mont Saint Michel and the D-day beaches in neighbouring Normandy.

During the second part of our tour we will travel to the French Alps in the Savoie region. You will be staying in a renovated farmhouse in an alpine village situated at 1300 metres altitude with spectacular unspoilt views of snow-capped mountains.

Discover the real Savoie through the eyes of the locals, visiting village markets, medieval towns and baroque churches and sampling the region’s culinary delights.

Bonjour, my name is Robyn Carson.  I was born in Australia and during the mid 80’s I set off with my backpack to explore the world which lead me to South East Asia, then England, Europe, USA and Canada.

I settled in France in the French Alps and my first job was working as a tour guide. Later down the track, I started taking French people on trips to England and lastly New York.

Since settling back in Australia, I would like to share my local knowledge and love of the countries I call home – France and Australia – with personalised small group tours.

I speak fluent French and of course English and this will help those on my tours gain a more intimate knowledge of the places, people and local culture encountered during my tours.

I look forward to meeting you on one of my tours very soon.
